Crucified in Christ

Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." This is my granpa's favorite verse, and it is evident that he is still living out this verse.

Family

Yesterday I left Bullhead City and drove 9 hours to Tooele to see my family. I haven't seen them since early in the Spring. My little brother has known I am coming out for about two weeks now, but kept the secret and didn't tell my parents. They were surprised and thrilled to say the least. I was hoping I would be able to get some time to visit them so when this week opened up, I took the opportunity. I love my family. I found out after I got here that my great-grandma, (who also lives in Tooele), had a minor heart attack on Thursday. She is in her mid 90's so this is pretty serious. She is still in the hospital as I am writing this on Monday morning. I am just glad I get to see her again. This will probably be the last time. Before I went to college I would see her almost on a weekly basis, at times I would grudge the thought of having to visit, now I wish I could go back and enjoy every moment. I guess being away at college has made me appreciate and love my family even more. If only I could have learned that when I was a teen.
